Police Dog Adoption

Dog Adoption Information:

Prior to any adoption approval of any GTA K9 the following WILL be required:

1. Permission from your Vet to discuss with him or her your records of past and present pets.
2. Granting a person representing GTA to visit your home and conduct an inspection of your property to ensure you have secure fencelines and gates.
3. To talk with your neighbors to ensure you are responsible with your pet(s).

NOTE 1: No decision will be given to you by the person conducting the inspection of your property. All decisions will be emailed to you. If you have been approved for adoption a phone call will be made after the email within 3-5 working days.

NOTE 2: If we feel something needs to be fixed like a fence or gate we will suggest this, then do a follow up visit to make certain it's been accomplished to the security and safety needs of the K9.

SPECIAL NOTES: No GTA K9 will be adopted into a home with a fence lower than six feet.
No K9 will be adopted into a home with Children younger than 8 yrs of age.
No K9 will be adopted into a home with a cat(s).
It's a HIGH Priority for us at GTA to make certain our K9s go into the best homes in America. Several of our K9s have served our country with honor and we want the best for them in retirement.

Thank you.
